I'm neither a goth, a metaller, nor a rivethead but an amalgamation of all three.

I am a collector. I do not do things by halves. I collect CDs, most of which are extreme metal (though various nefarious conspirators have corrupted me with EBM, goth and a variety of other tunes). I collect DVDs and am extremely picky about what I own. I collect graphic novels with an eye for only those with both exceptional artwork as well as story. Needless to say, I have a very small collection. I am also in love with glass and have a growing assortment of paperweights courtesy of my parents, both of whom are artisans specialising in glasswork.

I am an assiduous believer in the joys of unloading shotguns in the direction of adversaries on console games. Annihilating skeletons in Oblivion with fireballs and watching their skulls ricochet off the ceiling is a joy unto itself. A smile comes to my face when a horror movie does something beautifully evil and original. I can get lost in a stunningly placed riff in a song that speaks to me on some level beyond mere sound.

Spawned in Canada, I, along with a pack of goths and assorted hippies, am the minion of a behemoth of a cat (Primrose), a swiftly growing ginger (the mighty Leonidas) and a ball of fluff imaginatively dubbed Tiny Cat.
